We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Accounts Manager at our Palmer facility. The Customer Accounts Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the sales activities for all our Alaskan brands, maintaining customer accounts, processing/monitoring retail transactions, and managing the Palmer sales team in delivering excellent customer service experiences. Airframes Alaska is looking for a personable, detail-oriented, and experienced customer service/sales manager. The expectation is to provide excellent customer service experiences, and maintain strong relations with the employees, customers and vendors. As such, you must be a responsible, organized, positive, and energetic leader who excels in a face paced environment. This position is not a remote/hybrid position and requires employee presence at the Palmer headquarters.


Essential Job Duties Include:

  • Consistently deliver incredible customer service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concerns of aircraft mechanics and pilots
  • Build a broad and deep understanding of our products, our customers and key players
  • Be responsible for the development and execution of the retail activities and daily operations of our retail store
  • Manage the retail team at all three locations: Occasional travel required
  • Communicate and maintain good relations with customers, employees and vendors
  • Oversee the analysis of reports, audits and project quotas, identifying problems and improving procedures and standards
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and manage coordinated efforts successfully to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Perform Project Management duties, including designing custom projects for customers, writing orders, preparing price quotes, tracking the orders with the manufacturing team and communicating progress to the customer.
  • Maintain an understanding of Airframes Alaska manufactured and retail products and their usage and be able to make recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Stay informed on rival products and recommend revisions of Airframes Alaska products to maintain a viable product niche.
  • Attend relevant luncheons, meetings, banquets as the Airframes Alaska representative.
  • Manage all trade shows that Airframes Alaska participates in.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years? experience in a customer focused role
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Technologically inclined, understanding of Office365 and Outlook
  • Experience in new business development
  • A strong communicator that builds a rapport, listens well and adapts style and approach to suit
  • Results driven and an ability to lead, motivate and coach others to be successful
  • Able to work independently yet contribute effectively as a team player
  • Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease
  • Bachelor?s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Strong networking relationships with the local aviation market preferred
  • Experience in Aviation highly preferred
